HIGH SCHOOL CO-CURRICULAR OPPORTUNITIES
Learning beyond the classroom
At Andersen, MYP students benefit from a rich co-curricular offer that complements academic learning, encourages personal growth and builds strong foundations for the IB Diploma Programme.
Led by experienced professionals, external experts and university lecturers, these activities bring specialist knowledge, creativity and real-world perspectives into school life.
TRANSITION TO THE IB DIPLOMA PROGRAMME
Throughout the MYP years, students are encouraged to become more independent, broaden their perspectives and take on new challenges.
These experiences help develop the confidence, communication and critical-thinking skills that support a smooth transition to the IB Diploma Programme.
After-School Clubs
A varied selection of weekly clubs gives students the opportunity to pursue their interests, discover new ones and connect with others beyond the school day.
Model United Nations (MUN) gives participants the chance to represent different countries, discuss global issues and work towards shared resolutions, strengthening public speaking, critical thinking, leadership, teamwork and global awareness.
The programme also includes:
- Spanish ClubÂ
- Philosophical MindsÂ
- Drama ClubÂ
- Mathematics Club
- Debate Club
Full details on eligibility, schedules and fees are available in the High School Clubs List 2026–27.
